Confirmation class students and their mentors from United Methodist Temple in Beckley learned about Disaster Response during a flood bucket service project at New Vision Depot on March 9.
“One of the greatest strengths of the United Methodist church is our connectional spirit that is on display at New Vision Depot and comes alive in a disaster,” said Dr. Steve Gedon, pastor of United Methodist Temple, Beckley. “Our confirmation class and mentors get a first-hand look at the big church, the big picture, and our big faith perspective.”
