Our districts represent
the beauty and diversity of
West Virginia and Garrett County, Maryland.
Groups of churches in a geographic area are organized to form a district. Each district has clusters of churches organized into cooperative parishes, led by a parish coordinator. There are nine districts.
Each district is led by a Conference Superintendent, an elder appointed by the bishop, to oversee the ministry of the district's clergy and churches.
Conference Superintendents provide spiritual and administrative leadership, work with the bishop and others in the appointment of ministers, preside at meetings of the charge conference, facilitate the District Lead Team, oversee programs within the district and are the chief missions strategist for the district.
