On November 10th and 11th over 200 people from the West Virginia, Western PA, and Susquehanna conferences came together for the very first Level Up event. Over 60 of the laity and pastors in attendance were from the West Virginia conference. As you may know, these three conferences share two Bishops and have been working together in ministry for a couple of years. This was the first event co-sponsored by the three conferences.
Level Up was a time of worship, learning, and exploring ways for all of us in local churches to level up our ministry in order to engage with new people in new places.
You are encouraged to reach out to your district office and to seek out people in the area who attended Level Up in order to hear what they learned and how we might continue to grow this movement in our conference. In the coming weeks we will post some of the recordings along with other new resources on Portico in the New Places New People catalog.
