Easter Devotions

By WV UMC Admin

Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ:

For the past several years, the laity of the Conference have created a series of Lenten devotionals to be used by churches, Sunday School classes, Bible Study groups, and individuals.  This year, we are trying something new!  Our 2024 spring devotional will have an Easter theme.  It will begin on Easter Sunday and continue for 50 days through Pentecost.

Laity from across the Annual Conference have written devotions centered around the theme of “Possibilities Ahead.”

I am fascinated by the theme of this devotional series: Possibilities Ahead! Every time I ponder the theme, a new idea comes to mind.

Opportunity. Potential. Enhancement. Vision. Future. A new day. Both unlimited and limitless. Inspiration. Growth. Progress. Infinite. Embrace. Imagine. Dream. Hope. Transform.

Throughout this Easter season, I pray you will discover many possibilities that lie ahead. And, I hope this devotional helps guide your personal discipleship journey with scripture, meditation, and prayer.

We hope that you will subscribe to the emailed devotional at this link.  Explore with us the hope that Easter and possibilities can bring.

Wishing you abundant blessings,

Kristi Wilkerson, Conference Lay Leader

P.S.  Please join me in thanking our laity writers, Conference leaders who assisted with assembling this devotional series, and especially our Associate Conference Lay Leader, Kim Matthews, who coordinated this project. What a gift and a blessing our laity are to the West Virginia Conference!
