The Bishop’s Chalice Challenge is returning for a third year. This golf scramble, sponsored by the United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia, raises funds for the Endowment for Religious and Spiritual Life at West Virginia Wesleyan College (learn more here). The tournament will be held on July 17, 2023 at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane, West Virginia. On the day of the event, Foundation Staff will be available to greet you and complete golfing arrangements at 9:30 a.m. A United Start will begin at 11:00 a.m. We ask that you pre-register for the scramble.
You can register at this link. Foursomes are encouraged to register together. If you register prior to John Wesley’s birthday (June 28), the cost for a team of four people is $300. Team registration after June 28 is $340 per team of four. Individuals can register for $85. We ask that everyone register by July 10. Registration covers golf fees, cart, a meal, an Amazing Grace package of mulligans, and entry into the event competitions.
The Foundation is also seeking sponsors for this event. A list of sponsorship levels and benefits are available here. The deadline to register as a sponsor and be included in all printed materials is July 7th.
