As The United Methodist Church approaches our General Conference meeting,
scheduled for April 23 – May 3, the West Virginia delegates extend a warm invitation for
you to join us in prayer and worship. We have organized five regional gatherings across
the conference, offering a space for learning, worship, prayer, and communion, followed
by informal conversations and refreshments.
Our delegation, both in-person and through Zoom meetings, regularly comes together to
support one another in preparation for this important work. We have engaged in times of
prayer and scripture study as a team. In one gathering, we were guided in conversation
by Sue Nilson Kibbey as we sought a breakthrough prayer focus for our delegation. We
plan to share this guiding prayer during the regional gatherings and invite you to join us,
praying to support our endeavors in the days and weeks ahead. Your presence, whether
in person or in spirit, is greatly valued as we seek God’s guidance and strength for the
responsibilities before us.
