Changes at Spring Heights!

By WVUMC News

Some big changes happened at Spring Heights this fall, and we are so excited to share them with the Conference!  Volunteers In Mission came to camp in October to start the prep work for a new kitchen floor.  They spent a week grinding and sanding off the old layers of paint on the floor so that we could put down a new floor topcoat.  Once the prep work was done, our maintenance staff spent a week painting the concrete and sealing it off with two layers of epoxy.  After the floor was done, it was all hands on deck to paint the kitchen cabinets and walls.  Our kitchen looks so much more inviting, and we can stay in compliance with health codes thanks to our new floor.  We can’t say thank you enough to Volunteers In Mission, our maintenance staff, and our kitchen staff for putting in all the hard work to make it come together.
