UM Foundation: Upcoming Educational Opportunities

The United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia is holding an In-Person Academy of Faith and Generosity September 25-27 at Pipestem Resort State Park. The keynote presenter will be Rev. Dr. Lovett Weems, Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Church Leadership and Senior Consultant, G. Douglass Lewis Center for Church Leadership. Rev. Dr. Lovett Weems’ topic will be From Paying the Bills to Serving God’s Vision. Additional sessions will be led by Ken Sloane, Director, Stewardship & Generosity at Discipleship Ministries; Karen Manzcko, Director of Institutional Relationships at Wespath Institutional Investments; and Foundation leadership, Rev. Jeff Taylor, President and Kim Matthews, Vice President.

In addition to the In-Person Academy, The Foundation is also hosting quarterly webinars. The next webinar is taking place on August 10 at 7pm and will feature Ken Sloane.
