New Vision Depot Needs YOU

By WVUMC News

 New Vision Depot Ambassadors plan first meeting:
October 2, 2022 at 3pm at the
New Vision Depot, Beaver, WV.

New Vision Depot Ambassadors are laity and clergy, young and old alike and may live in any part of the West Virginia Conference. The only requirement to be a New Vision Depot Ambassador is an ongoing interest in the ministry of the New Vision Depot and a desire to share the good news of how the mission of the New Vision Depot shares the love of God with those who are facing difficult times due to natural disasters.

Being a New Vision Depot Ambassador is an opportunity for individuals and small groups to serve, celebrate and bless the ministry of the New Vision Depot.

Special training, workdays, and opportunities to tell the story of the New Vision Depot will be made available to those who serve as ambassadors.

Some ways that New Vision Depot Ambassadors may serve:

  • coordinate and provide hospitality for regular workdays at the Depot;
  • deliver flood buckets and other disaster recovery material to areas that have been affected by natural disasters;
  • tell the story of the New Vision Depot to church and civic groups (ambassadors will be equipped with handouts, flood buckets and other materials).

New Vision Depot Ambassadors carry out the mission of the West Virginia Conference as disciples of Jesus Christ, bringing healing and hope to individuals and communities working to recover from disaster.

If you are unable to attend the organizational gathering, please send us an  email: newvisiondepot@wvumc.org. We will schedule a follow up via zoom in October.

The mission of the West Virginia Conference of The United Methodist Church is to discover, develop and deploy passionate spiritual leaders who make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world!
