Bishop’s Chalice Challenge on July 11

By WV UMC Admin

The United Methodist Foundation of West Virginia is hosting their second Bishop’s Chalice Challenge on July 11th at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club in Hurricane, WV. This Bishop’s Chalice Challenge is a golf scramble to raise funds for the Endowment for Religious and Spiritual Life at West Virginia Wesleyan College. This endowment was created by Bishop Sandra Steiner Ball and Rev. Dr. Barry Steiner Ball to provide financial support to ensure that students at WVWC receive the opportunity to participate in United Methodist spiritual and religious practices, to receive pastoral guidance, and to provide connections between the College and United Methodist congregations and youth ministries.

The Foundation is looking for both sponsors and golfers for this year’s tournament. More information about this event, including sponsorship and golf registrations, can be found on The Foundation’s website at www.umfwv.org/golf.
