Giving to Humanitarian Response in Ukraine

By WVUMC News

You may receive questions from those in your church that want to financially give to the humanitarian response in Ukraine.  According to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), United Methodist can support Ukraine by giving to the International Disaster Response in one of the two ways:

  1. Go to the UMCOR website and give there directly – umcmission.org/umcor.
  2. Individuals can give through the local church.  Make checks payable to your local church and include the memo on your check  “Advance 982450” which is the International Disaster Response Fund.

Attention Church Treasurers: please deposit those checks into the church bank account and send the total collected to our office with a completed Church Remittance Form and church check made payable to “Conference Treasurer.” Please indicate “Fund 93” which is Advance 982450 at UMCOR in the specific designated funds section of the remittance form. Mail to:

Conference Treasurer
