C.J. Maggie’s
Featuring a comfortable family atmosphere, C.J. Maggie’s advertises itself as “West Virginia’s Neighborhood Restaurant.” The large menu features fresh salads, wood-fired pizzas, sizzling steaks, seafood, a “planet of pastas,” Tex-Mex, sliders, and a large variety of sandwiches. C.J. Maggies cuts its own steaks in house and makes its own sausage and meatballs.

Fish Hawk Acres
According to its website, Fish Hawk Acres is “a farm, a market, a unique cafe and a wildly popular custom catering service.” The business was established in 2007 by longtime friends Dale Hawkins and Teresa Lipps. The market storefront, which opened in 2015, offers daily specials for lunch and dinner.
The extensive bakery selections are too numerous to name and change daily: sumptuous scones, oversized cookies, meringue pies, layered cakes, delightful cupcakes, decadent tarts and famous pepperoni rolls, just to name a few. Also offering numerous gluten-free baked goods, as well as vegetarian and gluten-free meals and sides.
Fish Hawk Acres recommends calling ahead for lunch orders, especially for larger parties.

In the space previously occupied by The Daily Grind, Stone Tower Brews offers a daily lunch special. During a recent week, the Monday special was spicy avocado and pepper quesadilla, the Tuesday special was Hawaiian BBQ chicken tacos, the Wednesday special was teriyaki beef burger, the Thursday special was French dip hoagie and the Friday special was French toast. The weekend special was blackened fish tacos. A recent reviewer on Facebook wrote, “I was sad to see The Daily Grind go, but I was very impressed by Stone Tower Brews! Friendly staff, comfortable environment, good food and coffee! Definitely recommend!!
