Methodist Men from across the state gather at WVU Jackson’s Mill near Weston. At the same time, Scouts from W.Va. and nearby states camp in the big green field.
The Methodist Men gather Friday evening for praise, worship and a business meeting. Saturday morning features speakers including Bishop Sandra Steiner-Ball; Greg Arnold, general secretary and CEO of the General commission on United Methodist Men; and Steven Scheid, director of the General Commission’s Center for Scouting Ministries.
Friday evening and Saturday morning Scouts check in. Saturday is filled with wholesome activities ranging from a frozen T-shirt contest to a drone construction workshop. There is a campfire Saturday evening at the amphitheater featuring Scout skits.
Sunday morning there is a worship service with Holy Communion.
