The Spirituality of Healing: Three Day Academy for Spiritual Formation

Spirit Streams, the 3-day version of the Academy for Spiritual Formation, gives you just a taste of what you would experience at a Five-Day or Two-Year Academy. Registration fees are lower because there is only one faculty member and the schedule is shortened. You still experience time for silent reflection after each lecture, the Great Silence overnight and time for community sharing with the entire group and smaller Covenant Groups. The Three-Day Academy appeals to those individuals who cannot be away from home or work for an entire week.
This three day Academy will be at Saint John XXIII Pastoral Retreat Center from April 22-25, 2018. The focus will be on The Spirituality of Healing.
Kristin Vincent will be our guest faculty presenter.
Kristen is the author of Beads of Healing: Prayer, Trauma, and Spiritual Wholeness. The survivor of a childhood trauma, Vincent was diagnosed with PTSD and spent years seeking recovery. It wasn’t until she addressed the spiritual aspects of her trauma, however, that she found peace. Vincent now works regularly with soldiers who have PTSD to help them find spiritual wholeness. She is partnering with The Upper Room to offer healing retreats for communities affected by widespread trauma.
Registration is from 3-6 pm. on Sunday, April 22, with dinner and orientation following.
The Academy will conclude with lunch on Wednesday, April 25.
