The West Virginia conference was well represented August 22-24 in Harrisburg, PA at the Navigate conference.
There were wonderful leadership opportunities for everyone to grow themselves and to learn new things to bring back to their churches.
Thanks to the Susquehanna UMC Conference and the Navigate organizers we now have a resource for all our churches to experience these leaders sessions.

Here are some best practices:
- Watch a video or two yourself and make notes of any key learnings you can use to grow your own leadership skills.
- After you have seen a video, find a 10-15 minute section you can show to other leaders in your church.
- Prepare them before you show the video by setting up what they will see. Maybe with a short devotion of some type.
- After the video, give the group some time to debrief. Focus specifically on how to apply learnings in ministry.
We grow our churches and ministries as we grow ourselves and our leaders. An investment now in leadership development will produce fruit for years to come.
