DANCING WITH WORDS (Storytelling) Advanced course, taught by MonValley District Director of Lay Servant Ministries, Mary Bane.

Acquaints lay speakers with the history, art, selection, preparation and presentation of stories in a variety of settings with the goal of preparing lay speakers for ministry through storytelling. (Please note: Although this class does not count as one of the 6 required advanced courses to become a Certified Lay Speaker, it DOES count toward maintaining Certified Lay Servant status.)

Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021 at Westover UMC, from 8 AM – 5 PM. Class limit: 10

Although there is no registration fee for the class, you will need to purchase the book and provide your own lunch and snacks.

We also have 9 copies available at the district office for $14. You may pick one up or have one mailed to you for an additional $3. Please call ahead (304-366-6811) if you are picking up.
