By WV UMC Admin

For: Students in 9th-12th Grade

Dates: Feb 8-22, 2025

The Northeastern Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church is gearing up for an exciting Mission of Peace (MOP) trip to Hawaii in February 2025. The program aims to cultivate cultural awareness, leadership, and a deep commitment to service among young people in 9-12th grade.

Each conference within the Northeastern Jurisdiction is encouraged to select up to four qualified and responsible youth to participate in this transformative experience. Participants will immerse themselves in Hawaiian culture, engage in community service projects, and deepen their faith.

The MOP to Hawaii is more than just a trip; it’s a chance to grow personally and spiritually. Applications are now open and will be accepted until September 1st.

The total cost of this trip is $4,500 per person, and the Conference Office has resources to help students with some of this cost. For information about help with program expenses, reach out to Shea James.
