The Lay Servant Academy is a comprehensive developmental program for laity which helps people identify their calls to ministry and develop skills in caring, leading and communicating ministries. It is often the turning point for lay people who are seeking to offer significant service to both church and community. A Simple Response to the Opioid Epidemic; instructor: Rev. Barry Ball; West Virginia has the biggest drug problem in the country. We need to understand the problem and respond in kind as ambassadors of Christ. Rev. Barry Ball will explain the drug climate in our state, and offer effective ways to respond. (no book is required for this class)
