LEADING BIBLE STUDY 6 week course taught by Rev. Lynda Masters via ZOOM and at Harner Chapel UMC. Tuesdays, 7 PM – 8:30 PM, beginning April 20th.
Registration deadline is Friday, April 9th
This course opens a new world for many lay servants who have not had professional training in biblical interpretation. This class is an “other” advanced class and will count toward maintaining Certified Lay Servant status.
This is a small group study. Attendance at all six classes is required to receive credit if you are on the lay servant pathway. There is no charge for this class – you will need to order or borrow the text “Biblical Interpretation: A Roadmap” participant’s book by Sharon H. Ringe on your own – it is available from Amazon (ISBN #: 978-0687016082) in kindle and paperback versions, and also from Cokesbury (844) 291-7803. (Please allow plenty of time for delivery).
