Lay Servant Ministries Basic Course is a foundational course designed to
equip new church leaders and renew current leaders in The United
Methodist Church. The Basic Course encourages people to recognize and
use their gifts for work in the Church, helping each congregation become
an outpost for mission and transformation.

WHY TAKE THIS COURSE?

their faith journey as they strive for a closer relationship with the

During each two-hour session via Zoom, Rev. Donna Hinkle will guide
participants through thoughtful reflection on the areas of leading,
caring, communicating, and spreading the love of Christ into the world.
