Five clear practices for anyone who identifies as a Christian. This concise and compelling summary helps every United Methodist learn and remember the five identifiers that John Wesley set forth in The Character of a Methodist. This class will help to answer, “How should United Methodists live?” and provides the students called Methodists with a clear and memorable unifying focus. As followers of Jesus who reach out to serve their neighbors, United Methodists:
• Love God • Rejoice in God • Give thanks • Pray always • Love others

This class with be a perfect opportunity for explaining what it means to live in the United Methodist way.

This is a small group study. Attendance at all five classes is required to receive credit if you are on the lay servant pathway. There is no charge for this class – you will need to purchase the text ““Five Marks of a Methodist” by Steve Harper. It is available from Amazon (ISBN: 9781501800597) in kindle and print versions and also from Cokesbury. (Please allow plenty of time for delivery).
