These events are to prepare and train persons to arrive early in the midst of disasters to assist in efforts to clear debris, cover roofs, offer care to victims and to prepare their homes to be occupied as soon as is safely possible.

Training is an eight-hour event covering a variety of situations and responses, safety, guidelines and specific tasks in the midst of an early response.
