This 4 week course will be taught via Zoom by Rev. Dr. Janet Flanagan on Tuesdays, March 2 – 23, 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

The course will provide a thoughtful approach to ministries with older adults in our congregation and communities. We will discuss the aging process and the needs of those who find themselves in this developmental stage. Various programs and ministries for this age group will be highlighted.

This is a small group study. Attendance at all four classes is required to receive credit if you are on the lay servant pathway. This class is an “other” advanced class and will count toward maintaining Certified Lay Servant status.

There is no charge for this class – you will need to purchase the text “Aging and Ministry in the 21st Century: An Inquiry Approach” by Richard H. Gentzler, Jr., ISBN #: 978-0-88177-540-2 on your own – it is available in paperback from Amazon and from Cokesbury (844) 291-7803. (Please allow plenty of time for delivery).

Registration deadline is Monday, February 22nd.
