DEVOTIONAL LIFE IN THE WESLEYAN TRADITION

5 Week course taught by Rev. Sarah Allen via ZOOM. Mondays, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, beginning April 12th.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 31st.

Structured around Wesley’s “Means of Grace” this study covers, among other topics, prayer, scripture, the Lord’s Supper, and fasting. These were major features of John Wesley’s devotional life. Participants will learn how they can apply Wesley’s ministry to their own.

This is a small group study. Attendance at all five classes is required to receive credit if you are on the lay servant pathway. There is no charge for this class – you will need to order or borrow the text “Devotional Life in the Wesleyan Tradition” by Steve Harper, on your own – it is available from Amazon (ISBN: 978-0835807401) in paperback format, and also from Cokesbury (844) 291-7803. (Please allow plenty of time for delivery).

Registration deadline is Wednesday, March 31st.

Questions regarding the course may be directed to Mary Bane at 304-692-0003 or by email to crazymcb1@gmail.com.
