The 6th Annual West Virginia LARCUM (Lutheran, Anglican, Roman Catholic, United Methodist) Conference is scheduled for Monday, September 9 through Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at John XXIII Pastoral Center in Charleston, WV. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. on Monday and the conference will end after lunch on Wednesday. The only cost for participants for the entire conference is $105.00 per person for registration/double room occupancy (roommate must be listed), $125.00 for registration/single room occupancy or $25.00 registration fee for commuter.
This year’s conference will focus on: “Christianity and Civil Government: History, Theology, and Implications (for Citizens, Pastors and Institutions)
The conference will begin at 2:00 p.m. with opening prayer and an introduction session “The Law and Matters of Religion: An Overview of the Current State of Affairs.” Also, as in years past, each judicatory has provided a speaker for this conference. Each speaker will present two sessions. There will also be a session where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of the entire panel. In addition to the dynamic speakers there will be opportunities to pray, socialize and collaborate with colleagues and individuals from other denominations.
