If your church participates in a food ministry program, please consider applying for a “Hunger Grant.”   Your ministry program may be eligible for $500 – $1,000.  The deadline for application is February 1, 2020.  

The Hunger Ministries program is a West Virginia Conference Board of Global Ministries sponsored fund that provides financial assistance to assist those who deal with hunger in our society.  Any West Virginia Conference United Methodist Church who provides or works with a food pantry, backpack, or any other food ministry may apply for the grant.

The Hunger Ministries program is funded entirely by donations from churches or individuals.  You may donate by sending a check through your Church or Charge Treasurer using the regular Church Remittance Form.  

Please indicate FUND 221 in the space provided on the form.  Individual donations may also be made.  All checks must be made payable to “WV Conference Treasurer” and mailed along with the Church Remittance Form to: P. O. Box 2469, Charleston, WV 25329.
