Labor Day Resources for the local church

By WVUMC News

The United Methodist Church has long been on the forefront of support for workers and workers rights. As we lean into this Labor Day weekend, let us celebrate and give thanks for all who labor across our state and nation. Follow this link to learn more.

The original Social Creed was adopted by the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1908 as a denominational statement decrying child labor and supporting the economic rights of workers, better workplace conditions, better wages and worker safety. Follow this link to read the Social Creed.
