The 2019 West Virginia Annual Conference, held last week on the campus of West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buchannon, was a time for worship, fellowship, celebration and prayer. The work of the Annual Conference was also an important part of every day. Every four years this work includes electing delegates to the General and Jurisdictional Conferences of The United Methodist Church.
The West Virginia Annual Conference elected three
Immediately after the last ballot, Bishop Sandra Steiner Ball invited those elected to serve up front for prayer. Their work in preparation for the upcoming legislative gatherings will begin later this summer.
Those elected to represent the West Virginia Conference for the May 2020 General Conference of The United Methodist Church to be held in Minneapolis (in order of election) are:
